Bard is an adult male bearded dragon that was surrendered to us on 2/22. He is a beautiful red bearded dragon and is very friendly, although he does prefer to defecate outside of his cage so we give him a soak before letting him out. He loves his insects but does need some encouragement to eat his salads sometimes. Bard's adoption fee is $40 -- please note that part of the adoption contract states that adopted animals cannot be bred, as they have unknown histories and genetics. PLEASE READ! If you are interested in adopting Bard, you need to fill out an application at www.bewildnc.org/apply. Read the application carefully and answer the questions thoroughly. Above all, be honest! Research the species you would like to adopt in advance and consult multiple sources, we are happy to answer questions. Adopters agree to pick-up the animal in Durham within 7 days of their approval. Due to the current pandemic, adoptions will be performed with social distancing in mind.
