JOB DESCRIPTION: MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
COMPANY: Engenesys designs and builds custom automation, workstations, and fixtures for the automotive and packaging industries located in Northern Kentucky.

Both FT and PT considered with schedule flexibility available.
• Assemble components, and position, align, and fasten components to back planes or units by using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
• Clean and prep parts as required.
• Able to work with lubricants/ oils/ sealants for assembly activities.
• Read, interpret and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics to determine component parts and assembly sequence.
• Identify and report any faulty components or hazardous conditions during the assembly process.
• Ensure all work performed meets or exceeds quality specifications.
• Adhere to all Company policies
• Follow all quality, environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for the duration of shift. Ability to lift 5 -40 lbs. on a frequent basis. Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, grasp and pinch on a continual basis. Ability to operate multi-function machinery. Ability to work with and without supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Mechanical background
• Hand and power tool experience
• Blueprint reading
• Strong team skills
• Written and verbal communication
PLUSES:
• Automotive/ Construction background
• Electrical experience
Hourly Pay: $16 Hourly
