Description

Opal was born 09/21/2018 and is a purebred Norwegian Elkhound that is up to date on shots, microchipped, and fixed. I have tried the best I could these last couple years to make changes for Opal but we are not the home for her. Although she was raised as an indoor dog she is NOT indoor material. She has absolutely no bladder control and constantly needs to go outside. She is kennel trained but she’s not ideal to keep in a kennel for more than an hour. She either needs to be outdoors a lot or taken out a lot. She doesn’t ruin furniture, she gets along with kids, dogs, and cats. She’s very sweet, loves attention, and not destructive. We have to rehome her because as much as I’ve tried to get her to quit barking she is a dog and she barks for a reason. Like other dogs being let out or barking or people walking around at night. Shes the perfect guard dog. Where we moved has a “city ordnance” and a dumb neighbor complains because my dog barks when they let theirs out or other dogs bark. She’s a guard dog. That’s what she’s supposed to do but whatever. I’m not going to deal with court and fees over this and I’ve tried the best I can. I refuse to cut out her vocal cords because that’s inhumane. So this is what it has come to. If you have any questions and would like to meet her please feel free to ask and send me a text. She comes with a collar, leash, toys, and 2 bowls. I’m sick of the cops threatening me over her. She’s perfect for someone who owns a lot of outdoor land, away from other houses.
