Vista Paint Corporation, a leading manufacturer and retailer of paint and paint products is seeking a Spray Equipment Technician. The successful candidate will: 1. Demonstrate use and application of spray equipment. 2. Grow sales of spray equipment products with new and existing customers. 3. Ring up sales on computer cash register, accepting cash and tendering cash. 4. Log labor hours and store hours. 5. Receive and resolves customer complaints. 6. Take and fills orders. 7. Read parts breakdown and repairs standard equipment. 8. Use computer to locate parts and equipment for service and repairs. 9. Deliver and pick up spray equipment and parts. 10. Receive and stock inventory. 11. Maintain clean and safe work environment. EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent; experience in spray equipment or related retail/service environment; equivalent of 6 months experience in Spray Equipment; thorough knowledge of industrial and specialized spray equip¬ment and repair procedures: airless, conventional, HVLP, electrostatic and texture; thorough knowl¬edge of equipment and parts inventory; thorough knowledge of personal computer operation, and inventory software applications; familiar with driving stake-bed truck; familiar with locale and traffic patterns. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to work hours and shifts scheduled and determined by business need at the time; current, valid Class C Driver’s License with proof of good driving record.
