This mechanic will be responsible for performing services to auto, light truck and heavy-duty along with other tasks based on experience. At Pomp's, we value the opportunities to advance our employee's skills and positions at any level and work to support your development as a mechanic.  Job Responsibilities: - Perform oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacement, and other mechanical services - Maintain and replace tires - Maintain tools and equipment - Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for additional problems - Perform general housekeeping in work area - Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: - Mechanical experience or knowledge required - Basic automotive skills - Ability to work independent with minimal supervision - Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment driver’s file Physical Demands: - Ability to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally - Frequent standing, twisting, bending, stooping, crouching, and crawling - Must be able to visually inspect tires and vehicles in order to assess problems and make repairs - Ability to work in a fast paced environment We offer competitive pay, commission and a great benefits package.
