We are growing our warehouse and delivery team! Are you a fit? Vivant Event Rentals is more than an event furniture rental company. Our work environment offers a fun opportunity along with training in organization, people skills, leadership and much more. Delivery Crew and Drivers pack and deliver orders to event venues throughout Florida. Crew and drivers are responsible for the secure and damage - free transport and placement of event furniture and accessories. They represent Vivant Event Rentals while working and are expected to be courteous, helpful, safe, and careful while working in our warehouse or at an alternate location. This is an hourly, independent contractor position. Most shifts occur on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), deliveries (between 9 am to 5 pm) with pick-ups usually late at night (11 pm to 2 am). Hours will vary widely and are flexible to fit many different schedules. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Takes pride in providing great customer service, including having a courteous and helpful attitude Has a team - player mentality, showing leadership by example, using kind & professional language during all shifts, including in the warehouse and on site at events Works hard to safely pack, transport and place furniture and accessories, caring for company pieces as if they were your own Thrives in high - pressure situations, remaining flexible, organized and efficient Is punctual to shifts and deliveries Lift and move furniture up to 100 lbs. To be a driver: Must have a valid Florida Class C driver’s license, be able to drive a 26-foot box truck, and should obey traffic laws and drive safely. Truck driving training available. Ability to speak, read and write English Comfortable with taking direction from female management PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a contracted team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
