Summary: Data entry and coordination/receiving of incoming motors and various parts into the company’s inventory system. Retrieve and organize stock (including motors and motor parts) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Service Writing o Data entry of motors information into the computer system o Upload pictures of incoming repairs into the computer system o Assign/coordinate specific and pertinent information on incoming repairs to customer service o Assist with workflow, staging and organization on incoming repairs o Clean parts via sandblasting, solvent cleaning, steam cleaning, hand polishing, with toolings, and/or other methods o Perform basic measurements on electric motors and incoming repairs Parts o Enter parts and quotes into our order inventory system o Assist with sourcing/ordering parts, pricing, lead times and inventory control o Prioritize incoming jobs and insure all are completed on time. o Maintain in-stock inventory and supplies at a level that enables internal servicing and repair departments to complete their work in a timely fashion. o Maintain a clean and organized workspace o Assist with cycle counting Receiving o Stock/restock inventory shelves o Assist the shop with daily clean up and parts dissemination to mechanics o Assist with daily distribution of inventory for branch sites o Organizing warehouse and inventory with accurate part numbers and locators o Use overhead crane to move heavier motors for delivery or stock Skills and Qualifications o Out-going personality and “can-do” attitude o High School Diploma with 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment, with machine shop or repair shop experience a plus o Computer skills required for spreadsheet and database parts ordering and inventory duties o Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper equipment and lifting technique o General Math skills as well as the ability to read, write and communicate in English o Exposure to OSHA Guidelines. o Fork Lift certification. o Experience operating cranes a plus
