Trailer Rental Gig: cleanings $80, customer orientation $50, and deliveries $80 each way (More for longer trips). We have two trailers we rent out (2019 Airstream 25', 2017 Cherokee 34'). We need someone local to manage these transactions as we can’t be there all the time. Relatively short hours for decent pay. Cleaning: $80 per turnaround. This entails receiving trailer from customer, parking trailer in spot, cleaning (linens, bathroom, kitchen, floors, windows, etc.) and prepping the trailer for the next guest with good reviews in mind. If exterior wash is required, you'll be paid extra. (2 hours) Deliveries: $80 minimum each way for deliveries / orientation. ($2/mile for longer delivery.) (Usually just delivered 20 - 40 miles from storage) Handoffs: $50 for meetup and handoff from Fairplex RV Storage (when delivery isn’t necessary). This entails meeting with customer. Giving them a run through of how everything works. Taking photos of current condition of trailer for records, seeing them off. (1 hour.) Extras: If guest doesn’t refill propane, you get $20 for running to gas station to exchange those. Exterior wash: if customer brings back a dirty exterior, we will charge them and pay you to do it. One way trip returns. Rare but some guests just want to travel across country then fly back. Someone has to go get trailer. (Pay TBD, would include accommodations, gas, etc.) Requirements: Drivers License with good record. (Putting you on insurance so record matters for that. Can care less if u have tickets.. just don’t want it to cost us a fortune.) Pickup Truck (tow rating of 10,000 or higher, tow package, brake controller) Experience with towing. (Can be taught if you don't… will require a couple extensive training sessions to make you comfy of no experience.) Experience with cleaning. Preferably for Airbnb and rentals. Making spaces presentational, making beds, cleaning windows, aim for good reviews. Good people skills! Can perform an orientation and leave a good mark. We’ve been busy lately, hence the need for help. Once we feel confident with you, we'll reduce the minimum rental days so that we can stay even busier allowing you to make even more money. Id say we do about 6 transactions a month in the spring so at a minimum without any deliveries, that’s $810 for around 18 hours. not bad right? If everyone that month wanted it delivered… (which about half of them do lately) that’s $160 per round trip. That’s an additional $960 that month. It pays well because you have to be good, focused, sharp and have your own truck. Can’t have wreckless driving… if these are damaged… we lose a lot of money because they aren’t on the road making money. Have to be cleaned well to garnish good reviews… good reviews equals way more bookings, which equals more money for both of us. Through on check in so that if guests damage trailers, we can collect from guests. Basically you’re getting paid for being sharp and particular. If this isn’t you, it’s probably better you don’t apply because we will be particular too so it’ll just frustrate you a bit. If this is your thing… you’ll notice more details than we will and this will be your ship to steer more or less. If you are a couple who wants to tag team this, sure. Still only pays the amount listed but it can be shorter hours for you guys since there are two of you and you can combine skill sets to qualify! Starts as soon as we can get you up to speed.
