NOW HIRING TOW TRUCK OPERATORS We are currently accepting applications for Tow Truck Operator(s) for an Omaha-based, small towing company. WE OFFER: - Competitive Wage – Hourly + Commission - Paid Vacation after 1 Year - 5 Day Work Week with Extra Hours Available - Newer Trucks & Equipment - Paperless Tickets & Logs - Small Business, Family-Friendly Work Environment - Income is limited only by your drive and ability to stay focused and follow directions DUTIES INCLUDE: - Operate light-duty wheel lift tow truck with dollies - Roadside assistance (i.e., tire changes, lockout service, jump starts) - Routine patrol of private properties checking for vehicles in violation (i.e., no permits, parked in fire lanes, parked in handicap spaces without handicap placard, etc.) - Communicating with dispatchers and customers - Ability to operate cloud-based towing software - Completing pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections - Daily cleaning and maintenance of tow truck QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous towing experience preferable, but willing to train the right individual - Solid work history - Clean driving record (no more than 2-3 minor violations in the last 3 years; no major violations) - Minimum age of 25 - Ability to handle physical workload and lift 75 lbs. - Strong work ethic (honest, dependable, reliable, responsible) - Common sense and the ability to problem-solve (tow vehicles without keys or in tight spaces) - Mechanical knowledge/experience of vehicles a plus - General knowledge of vehicle makes/models including drive train (AWD vs. FWD, etc.) - Good geographical knowledge of Omaha and surrounding areas - Self-Motivated, fast learner - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with no supervision - Excellent communication and customer service skills **APPLY IN PERSON at Auto 1 Towing, Inc. 6328 Grover St. Omaha**
