Busy screen printing shop is looking for a quality control person. No experience necessary, just people with good work ethics, and great organizational skills. Our quality control people are responsible for making sure our customers receive the best final product they can. They are the last person to see our customer's product prior to the customer. They are also directly in charge of the packaging and presentation to our customers. All shirts printed need to be inspected for imperfections, (ink smudges, pinholes, etc) and printers need to be immediately notified if something doesn't look correct. As shirts coming through the dryer, need to be inspected and stacked according to size. After all shirts for a job are printed, they need to be counted, neatly boxed, and boxes need to be labeled with the contents. Then the customer service representative handling the job needs to be notified so he or she can inform the customer that their job is ready. All relevant information for the job must also be filed so we can repeat the print exactly the next time it is ordered. The quality control people are also responsible for keeping their area clean and organized. Compensation is $12.00 per hour, and we have up to two weeks vacation/sick time a year, plus paid major holidays. We are a fast-paced work environment, but friendly and laid back. There are also a lot of ups and downs with the position time wise. If the presses are spinning, the quality control person is busy. When jobs are being broken down and set up, there is time for catch up and clean up.
