Property management company in San Diego looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician DUTIES: - Support maintenance staff with management and turnover of units - Assisting with appliance repair, light plumbing and electrical - Complete light carpentry work on cabinets, doors, and drywall - Apartment turnovers for new residents (painting and preparation) - Respond to resident/management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units - Repair/replace apartment materials and perform maintenance requests - Cover driving area of San Diego (50 mile radius, mileage reimbursed) MUST HAVES: - 1-2 years property maintenance experience - Excellent attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills, and takes great pride in the quality of their work - Perform other duties as requested to support property operations - Willingness to learn, assist when needed and be able to take direction - Must have own vehicle - Must have own tools PREFERED: - Bilingual (English/Spanish) JOB DETAILS: - Rate : $20 - $25 p/h paid weekly - Ideal candidate available Tuesday - Saturday - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - This is a long term position - Mileage expenses covered References & background checks will be required.
