Our client is actively hiring for a Utility Worker to help our team maintain the cleanliness and family-friendly appeal of our local parks and trails. In this role, you will work to inspect, clean, and maintain our local parks and trails. Landscaping experience, working with hand tools, including power tools/saws and lumber preferred. Experience as a grounds keeper/handy man is a PLUS! Duties/Requirements include: Read signs, labels, work orders and follow simple instructions in English. Must be able to use landscaping tools ; shovel, hand picker, broom, loppers for small branches. Sample of duties: • Shoveling dirt/digging as needed. • Placing sandbags and fabric blankets. • Sweeping bikeways. • Handpicking trash and debris left behind by the public. • Cleaning or replacement of signs. • Trimming of bushes/trees. • Cleaning vehicles and tools • Must be able to lift 50lbs. • Install ordinance signs/frames • Removal of graffiti as needed with graffiti remover • Painting/Staining wood/drinking fountains • Replacement/Removable lodge pole fence posts • Replacement of trail railing Pay Rate $ 14.58/hr Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7am-3:30pm Dress to work outdoors, no holes, rips or tears Earn an EASY $100 with our Bonus Referral Program!
