Grass and seed eaters, I will send with food they require a high protein component to their diet as well which I supplement with a good quality cat chow and feeder insects. Males will not get along if there is a female present. Trios or pairs do well as they need company, even if you plan on holding them everyday. These mice have a lower body temperature than other rodents since they are from the desert, so they can not be stored in a very cold house. Precocial young are born, which means the gestation is longer but when the babies are born they have hair and their eyes and ears are open. Litter size smaller than other rodents 2-6 babies. I have male and female that can go as same sex pairs or trios if you do not want to breed. These mice live longer than your typical mouse 5-6 years instead of 1-2 years. Color variety Agouti (wild type) I will have 2 others varieties born soon (cream and satin). If you are wanting to breed I will have unrelated babies soon.
