POSITION Men's Locker Room Attendant (Seasonal) DESCRIPTION Position Title: Men’s Locker Room Attendant Reports To: Locker Room Manager Department: Golf Employment Dates: Approximately March 26 – November 1st Purpose of Position: Under the direction of the Locker Room Manager, the Men’s Locker Room Attendant is a seasonal temporary position responsible for professionally and efficiently maintaining the Men’s Locker Room areas and fulfilling members and their guests’ needs and requests. Ensures member, guest and management satisfaction and provides the highest quality service as expected by same. Performs all work in accordance with essential functions and responsibilities as described below and in the spirit of the Club’s mission and vision. Responsibilities: Duties shall include but not be limited to: Graciously tends the needs of members and guests, and anticipates requests. Creates an environment that facilitates a welcoming, enjoyable Club experience. Responsible for keeping the men’s locker room and men’s restrooms clean, stocked, and fresh at all times. This includes restocking all items used, as well as mopping floors and keeping counters, showers, urinals, and bathroom stalls clean. Cleans and repairs shoes for members and guests. Places food orders and serves drinks, if applicable. Assists wait staff in serving in the Locker Room area. Is knowledgeable of Club services, features and events. Keeps aware of par stocks and notifies the Locker Room Manager when inventories are low. Organizes and maintains Locker Room work area. Follows established health and safety compliance. Presents an immaculately groomed and presentable appearance in the appropriate uniform. Works in a positive, cooperative and pleasant manner with members, colleagues and management. Performs all other tasks and duties as determined necessary by management. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: Male candidate required Strong Interpersonal Skills Superb organizational skill and attention to detail Experience/Education: Prior golf/country club experience required Two years’ experience in the hospitality service field, preferred. Work Environment and Physical Demands: Requires indoor and occasional outdoor labor. Temperature generally is moderate and controlled. Must be able to work in a fast-paced service environment and have the ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, lifting, bending, reaching, communicating effectively, and visual acuity. Requires communicating effectively with members, guests, and supervisors Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Projected Work Schedule: Must be able to work five days a week, up to 8 hours a day; weekends are a must. Hours during event weeks may require more than forty hours. Any request or anticipated absence from the agreed schedule requires prior approval from the Locker Room Manager.
