Not sure how much more I have in me but I hope to find one more really good band/working situation. I've been in various bands in North Jersey over the last 10-15 years. My most recent band will be ending due to a member moving down south. With Covid getting better in the coming months (hopefully) I thought this would be a good opportunity to see about getting a band together or possibly joining a situation in or close to being complete. Me and my background - I play both lead and rhythm guitar. These days I almost prefer the rhythm side of things but can be either. I have played in various cover bands as well as a Springsteen cover band for 10+ years. Some of the songs and types of music I have play are 80s, 90s, 2000 rock/pop/metal... Duran Duran, Poison, Judas Priest, Matchbox 20, Gin Blossoms, Springsteen, Darius Rucker, etc I have all my own, professional gear. Transportation. What I am looking for - I am in my late 40s. Looking for same age demographic. I am open to a full band or even an acoustic duo/trio situation. Start up or join something established. Gigging on a somewhat regular basis 1 or 2 times per month to make a few bucks (gas and beer money). I would also be open to another Springsteen situation if you know the material and can sing it. I have a catalog of 20-30 songs I can bang out on an acoustic guitar right now. What I am not looking for - Classic rock cover band situation. I like classic rock but not looking to play just that. Drama - can't deal with that as we are all adults. Drugs - again, not time for crap like that. Also, I have a YouTube channel for lessons and song tutorials which I started in Feb of 2020. This hopefully gives you an idea of my commitment. And I give lessons virtually. Gear - Fender and Peavey amps. Fender, Gibson, PRS, Gretsch, Danelectro guitars. Epiphone and Alvarez acoustic guitars. So...there you have it. That's me. Reach out if interested and we can start building towards the spring and summer of 2021 and kick some a$$.
