Seasonal Position Private Apartment included Small island off of Woods Hole is seeking a general laborer. This position is a very physical position and work is outside. It includes lawn mowing, weed whacking, tractor mowing, working with chainsaw, hand tools and other outdoor projects. There is not a firm job description because it could change daily depending on circumstances, weather and emergencies. This position reports to the department manager. The candidate must be able to follow directions, work both independently and with others. Lifting over 50 pounds is required. Experience with driving a tractor and use of chainsaw preferred but will train. This is a live on island position and includes a one-bedroom apartment that includes heat, electricity, telephone, laundry facilities and internet. 40 hours per week, requires residing on premises.
