We are looking to fill full time handyman positions MUST HAVE: - 3+ years of paid experience and skills across a broad spectrum of home maintenance/repair and remodeling skill categories. - Several years of painting experience, especially exterior painting - A strong carpentry background and can "do it all". - Experience with drywall repair. - Excellent customer communication skills. - A clean driving record (no DUI or suspended license) and pass a background check before being hired. - Your own transportation, a truck is preferred but not required. - A friendly attitude with a good, clean appearance. - Pride in your work and deliver a great product each time. We cover most work related expenses (uniforms, etc.). If you have the right skills, are customer service oriented, and would prefer to focus on working today's job and not having to worry about finding tomorrow's job, we might be the fit for you. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS: - None at this time. TEAM WORKS WITH: - Administrative staff, management, and others as necessary. SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: - None at this time. EDUCATION, and/or EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or Equivalency. - At least five (5) years of experience in maintenance or related work. - Valid driver license. LANGUAGE SKILLS: - Ability to communicate in English. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. - Ability to speak effectively with customers or contractors of organization. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - While performing the duties of this job, the contractor is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. - The contractor frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. - The contractor is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. - The contractor must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: - While performing the duties of this job, the contractor is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. - The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
