We are looking to fill full time landscaping positions for DWD Professional Landscaping, LLC. Must have: - Reliable transportation to and from work (there is no bus service available to the shop). - 1-3 years of experience. - Valid Driver's License. - A "can do it all" attitude. - Excellent customer communications skills. - A friendly attitude with a good and clean appearance. - Pride in your work and deliver a great product each time. THINGS WE DO: - Mow Large Commercial Properties - Edging - Clean Up with Blowers - Weeding with Machines and by Hand - Hedging - Weed Control - Land Clearing - Landscape Enhancements We will provide you with uniform shirts, water, and snacks to take with you. We are a fast growing company with plenty of potential. You will work in a fast paced environment with friendly co-workers. TEAM WORKS WITH: - Administrative staff - Management - Association Board Members and others as necessary EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or Equivalency - 1-3 years of experience in landscaping maintenance or related work LANGUAGE SKILLS: - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. - Ability to speak effectively with customers or contractors of organization. REASONING ABILITY: - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. - Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - None required at this time. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - While performing the duties of this job, the contractor is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The contractor frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The contractor is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The contractor must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: - While performing the duties of this job, the contractor is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
