Description

Stock clerks take merchandise that has arrived, check for damage or mislabeling, and get it where it needs to be. An exmaple, is bringing in cases of beverages into the cooler, and loading the shelves. Often, stock clerks use handheld tracking scanners to make sure the right items are in the right place, and update inventory records. May also assist in kitchen duties, such as cooking, and general clean up. Hours are generally in the morning till 2 pm. If showing interest, other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned including cashiering.
