Immediate Entry Level Shipyard Firewatch positions available now. No experience required. For this assignment, employee must be able to obtain DBID Credentials. (No Felonies in last 10 years or Misdemeanors in last 5 years). Must be able to report for work as early as 6:00 am and have reliable transportation. Bus routes are not guaranteed to get individual to work on time at NOB by 6:00 am. Must be willing to work in other shipyards as back ground check and credentials are pending for approval and as work shifts. Please apply online at: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to travel to all shipyards within the Tidewater area - Must be available all shifts, 8-12 hours daily, up to 7 days a week - Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift. - Must be able to climb stairs and work at elevated heights. - Must be able to work in confined spaces - Must be able to pass Physical and Drug Screening requirements, including clean shaven face In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. Current government identification card or passport, birth certificate and social security card are required.
