We are seeking an experienced Handyman for a large residential building located in Union Square. The position is a Union Handyman position with Local 32BJ. Responsibilities for this position are, but not limited to: - Perform inspection of common areas, systems rooms, and perimeter. - Perform routine, scheduled maintenance of building systems - Perform Minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical work - Experience with repairing plaster walls - Perform minor apartment repairs - Other duties as requested by the Resident Manager or Management, including assisting in emergencies or building related repairs. -Buildinglink work orders Requirements: - Must work weekends - Proven experience as a handyman in a residential building - Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment - HVAC and boiler operation knowledge and diagnosis - Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical - Be able to think quickly and intuitively in case of emergency - Ability to work under pressure - Well organized and apt in problem-solving - Reliable and works well with others - Good communication skills Please apply with resume to [email protected]
