17$ an hour. 40+ hours a week with production bonuses possible. 100% travel. Mostly in Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Montana. -Company paid hotel lodging and transportation in company truck -You must be willing to be away from home for a month or more at a time. Job Description: -We conduct pole inspection and treatment on wooden utility poles working in 4-5 person crews with 1 foreman and 3-4 crew members. -Using shovels we dig 18" holes around the base of each pole, the foreman conducts an inspection on the pole, and a crew member applies treatment to prolong the life of the pole. -A typical day would include 5-6 hours of digging with a shovel and 3-4 hours of treating the poles or backfilling the hole once treated. On the job training could eventually move you into the role of inspecting the poles as well. We are currently working with 6 crews between Garden City, KS and Guymon Ok.
