Please do not get your children a rabbit for Easter, most rabbits are not lovable and huggable contrary to their adorable looks- they’re friendly but not as the pet a Guinea pig makes. They require a litter box cleaning every day, backs/bones easily broken and regular care. Keeping them in a small cage is cruel, these animals are meant to roam and hop around. Rabbits dig, chew cords, shed like crazy. All this coming from someone who owns house rabbits, I am very knowledgeable with rabbits as pets and they are not a children’s toy. Please educate yourself before you consider purchasing one of these sweet creatures.
