Are you a hard working and fast learner who rides bicycles, knows basic bicycle repairs like flat-fixing and brake-adjustment, and wants to start getting paid to repair bikes and experience the thrill of working in a bike shop? We want you to join our team! The Bicycle Service Runner is a part-time, entry-level bicycle mechanic role for someone who is enthusiastic about biking, is not afraid to get their hands dirty, and wants to learn what it’s like to work in a bike shop. We want you to bring your enthusiasm for bikes to the team, and help our service team provide world-class bicycle repair. You will report to our Service Manager and assist Bicycle Mechanics with regular service tasks on your feet and with your hands, from spending time on your feet moving bikes on and off the service floor or working on customers’ bikes with basic repairs and installs. Our team of mechanics will train and support you. No experience required, and room to grow within the company as you learn! Swap brake pads Lift and move bicycles on and off the service floor or between the shop and warehouse. Communicate effectively to team and customers Helps in maintaining cleanliness of store Work a flexible schedule that may include working weekends, some holidays, and opening/closing shifts ========== QUALIFICATIONS *Able to lift up to 50lbs *Team player who can follow directions from service staff. *Enthusiasm for Bicycles or bicycle industry.
