This is not a unique phenomenon coming unto me. As the title suggests, I feel utterly socially distanced... I'm around older folks often, for work, and I appreciate their company, their perspective on life. Rarely do I come upon liveliness... Enthusiasm imparting passion on a group... Where do millennials, people in their 20s/30s gather for social interaction? Many of us are out of school, not attached to groups... One of my "clients" speaks of, in his hay-day, frequenting Dance Halls. Where one may meet others in a lively, vibrant celebration of life and youthful exuberance! Where are the modern dancehalls of our day? I shudder at the thought of them being discord chatrooms and zoom calls... Looking for a friend. For enlightening conversation. For humorous musings. For positivity. For genuine quirks on display. I do not want to photograph you chained to a radiator with a dirty rag in your mug, please do not respond with unsolicited requests.
