Reliable, christian mother with 25 years experience in State Licensed Home Care has an opening available for your child. First and foremost we are taking every precaution to ensure that your child is in a safe sanitary environment. Temperatures will be monitored at the door and repeatedly throughout the day. I am currently a member of the Child Daycare Association Food Program and have been for many years. As a member I am regularly inspected and informed on the most recent nutritional guidelines which are required to maintain a healthy diet. We serve balanced meals, mostly unprocessed, which includes breakfast and lunch as well as snacks throughout the day. I am also inspected on a regular basis by the Health Department for health related issues and the St Louis County Fire Marshal for fire safety in the home. We offer an excellent learning program which includes the Weekly Reader with year round lessons focusing on social relationships, language skills, problem solving and fine/gross motor development. In addition, for our preschool age children, we incorporate activities that promote letter, number, shape and color recognition. Character education is also an integral component to our program. We work to instill values with each child such as respect, caring, patience, politeness, cooperation and forgiveness. I have had numerous hours of Child Development courses, recent CPR, First Aid training and experience home schooling children of my own. In the spring we look forward to the egg hatching program when we incubate eggs, watch them hatch and send them back to the farm. In the summer we learn about the life stages of a butterfly and then set them free! We love nature! Crafts, storytimes, songs, dance and lots of fun in a clean, nonsmoking safe environment with a 6' foot privacy fence surrounding our outdoor play area. We provide the emotional bonding of home care in addition to the professional standards of a facility. I would like to tell you more and I do offer many references if needed.
