Join us for a Streamside Tree Planting at Sunnyside along the Conestoga River! The City of Lancaster, Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, and Lancaster Tree Tenders are pleased to plant a new streamside buffer at Sunnyside along Circle Avenue. Together we anticipate planting 130+ native trees and shrubs along the Conestoga River! What to bring? your own shovelglovesbottle of water (extra water provided)snack (bring your own, packaged light snacks will also be available)wear a mask and follow covid safety guidelines (Alliance waiver and protocol will be shared via email with participants)Please note: Extra shovels, gloves, PPE supplies, and tree stakes, nets, and shelters will be onsite. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long sleeves and long pants and also to wear closed-toed, protective shoes such as boots. Help the City of Lancaster, Lancaster Tree Tenders, and our community partners reach 10 acres of urban riparian buffer!
