Seeking Event Personnel Mace Media Group seeks Professional and Ethical Event Personnel for CBD Expo MidWest 2021 April 9-10, 2021 This is a contract position for one-weekend event. The show runs FRIDAY 4/09/2021 10am-5pm SATURDAY 4/10/2021 10am-3pm Call time for this position will be an hour or so before the start of show time every day, and can be expected to run up to an hour past show time each day. Exact expected hours TBA. Pay: $80/day Days: 2 Total Contract: $160 Mic Runner Personnel Responsibilities: Run mics for speakers in panel room discussions Go into the audience with mic to amplify audience questions Sanitize mic in between each question with a disinfectant wipe Maintain a cadence of questions and answers by being attentive to the audience and prepared to run to the questioner as soon as they have been called upon Position Requirements Ability to be on feet for long hours Ability to balance respect for personal space and social distancing while effectively running mic and amplifying audience questions Knowledge of sound systems and A/V technology Event Experience a plus Professionalism in appearance Excellent customer service Compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions an absolute must No known COVID-19 exposure or positive tests that have not been cleared by a physician No COVID-19 symptoms for the past week prior to the event See this link for the Ten Commandments of Microphone Runners at a Panel Discussion: Seeking Event Personnel Mace Media Group seeks Professional and Ethical Event Personnel for CBD Expo MidWest 2021 April 9-10, 2021 This is a contract position for one-weekend event.
