We are an established powder & ceramic coating shop looking to hire an individual for a full-time position. No experience is necessary, we will train you. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour with structured raises, paid days off, and bonus potentials. Normal business hours are Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. Hours can sometimes vary based on the workload and prior notice would be given by the shop foreman. The ideal candidate would enjoy working with their hands and have a good sense of humor. You must be honest, ethical, and self-motivated. The current employees are a tight knit group that are welcoming to newcomers. The work environment can be dusty, dirty, and sometimes loud. Even with fans and coolers the shop can get hot in the summer and winter mornings can be cold. If you are a sanitary “cubical” kind of worker this is not a place you will enjoy. The owners and the employees WILL NOT tolerate drug or alcohol use at work, or after-hours usage that affects your job performance or the safety of employees. Employees are required to lift more than 50 pounds, work on their feet for prolonged periods, bend-twist-stretch while moving metal parts, and work as a team with fellow employees. Daily duties include but are not limited to the following: • Loading \ un-loading metal parts on pallets • Loading \ un-loading pallets onto trucks and trailers • Inspecting and packaging metal parts • Sanding parts, washing parts, threading bolts into parts • Operating a sandblaster • Operating a forklift • Hanging metal parts on large racks • Rolling metal racks on concrete and asphalt • Sweeping and cleaning workstations If you are interested, please send a resume and contact information (telephone and email) to this posting.
