Do you like the disturbing, the enchanting, the abstract? Do philosophical concepts and talks about life, society, and the human experience interest you? Then the all-new Degenerates book club is right for you! We will be doing a variety of genres of fantasy, sci fi, literary fiction, transgressive fiction, classics, drama (not theater), and maybe even some nonfiction if everyone is down for it. I will pick 4 books each time and everyone can collectively vote on which one we read. Each week (or every other week) we’ll meet to discuss and socialize. For now it’ll start out virtual but then when it is safe can meet up at different coffee shops, breweries, wineries or restaurants which we can also vote on. Im open to suggestions on other fun things we can do with the group and our discussions and how to run it as well! Due to the nature of a lot of the books in mind, 18+, and If we plan on doing breweries and wineries then obviously people who can attend those is a plus but not necessary.
