Columbia Basin Railroad has an opening for a Conductor/Locomotive Engineer Trainee in Warden Washington. Duties include setting handbrakes, climbing railcars, throwing switches, getting on and off moving equipment, aligning coupling devices and making airbrake connections, walking, riding moving equipment while hanging on the side of a railcar, all duties are performed under all types of weather conditions, day & and night. Must walk through sand, gravel, mud, snow and ice, large rock, debris and weeds. The terrain is rough, sloped and has steep side grades. Successful candidate must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, pass background check and pre-employment drug screen. Please click link below to apply.
