Event Band Auditioning Potential Vocalists and More

Meets

Chelmsford MA

Description

Massachusetts based six piece event band consisting of Tenor Sax, Male Tenor Vocalist, Two Elec. Guitarists, Bass and Drums looking into adding the right lead capable vocalist as well as accompaniment (open except for guitar). About the Band: ▪ We already have post-covid events on the books starting this summer. ▪ The events we play are mostly corporate or private and well paying. ▪ Rehearse once per week on a normal schedule for 3-4 hours. ▪ Not just copy and paste covers. We like take what people know about well known tracks and throw them in a blender with a little hot sauce and a dash of unadulterated charisma. Light choreography and ability to entertain are must haves. ▪ We are all in our early to mid 30s and have been performing since we were kids, albeit not together until last year. ▪ ALL genres and decades are covered under our umbrella. ▪ We have a dedicated rehearsal space with 24/7 access and security so gear does not need to be hauled for every rehearsal if desired. Loading docks and freight elevator for easy loading and unloading as well. (Near Chelmsford MA) ▪ Last but certainly not least, we work hard and have a whole lot of fun doing it. Who we are looking for - Vocalist: • Soprano or Alto with the ability to reach up to the Soprano shelf on occasion. • Someone who can joke around but also command attention when needed. • Everything else will solely revolve around fit within an audition environment. • Any addition of instrument skill a major bonus. Who we are looking for - Accompaniment: • At the top of the list would be Keyboardist or Brass Player but open to anyone who feels they would mesh within our project • Versatility a major bonus with our genre range • Improvisation also a bonus If you have made it to this point in the posting I am assuming you want to try your hand at an audition… Right?! Ok fine, either that or you are extremely bored and looking to torture yourself for the sake of total self gratification but hey, I get it. Kudos.
