Description
I’m looking for help this spring and summer. Hours are depending on your availability and jobs schedules but likely around 10-20/week in the spring and early summer then 40+/week in the summer. I take on many different projects and need someone willing to build experience in a variety of different tasks (cutting trees, excavation, mid scale construction projects, and wildland firefighting). I’m happy to work around schedules but it would be great to have a go-to person when I need an extra hand, as well as someone who can commit to working fires this summer. No experience necessary as long as you’ve got a good work ethic and prioritize safety.
Compensation (Depending on type of work):
Tree work: 15/hr-20/hr DOE
Carpentry: 15/hr-20/hr DOE
Excavation help: 15/hr
Wildland Fires: 350/day all meals provided
All you need to bring are work clothes, gloves, and a hammer. As for fires, I will need you to coordinate with me to get training. Once trained, you will be called this summer as things dry out in central/eastern Washington and fires start up. You may work up to 2 weeks per shift, followed by a mandatory 2 day rest period. All meals will be provided at camp, so you will only need to bring sleeping gear and changes of clothes (only t shirts and underwear since fireproof pants and long sleeve shirt will be provided).
Please email me if you are interested and have any questions.
