Usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.   Cleans tanks and vessels using vacuum hoses, guzzler hoses, shovels, hydro-blasters, etc.   Uses various hand tools & power tools to perform tasks.   Runs and operates small equipment. Positions, joins, aligns, welds and seals pipe sections.   Mops, brushes, or spreads paints or compounds over surfaces for protection.   Sprays materials such as water, sand, steam, tar, or paint, through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.   Grinds, sands, or polishes various surfaces.   Assists with all aspects of construction:  Demolishes buildings, saws lumber, dismantles forms, concrete work, constructs elements of buildings, asphalt work, lifts and moves objects, etc.   WRS laborers may be asked to work in the warehouse, stand a fire watch, hole watch or pump watch.  They also may be asked to be a truck spotter or rider.   Maintains and protects all WRS property. Ensures all equipment is returned in the same condition it was lent out.   Performs all duties in compliance with all WRS and customer Health & Safety standards.   Performs other assigned tasks and supports company goals and objectives.
