We are looking for 38 fair-minded people from Calcasieu Parish, LA, to take part in an online jury research project. The objective of the project is to get feedback on the facts of a real lawsuit by individuals from an area similar to where the case originated. We are paying $100 via PayPal or business check for completing a self-paced online trial that will take around 3 hours. If selected, you will be able to complete this self-paced online trial at your convenience within a 24-hour window between March 28th and 29th. **We are also offering some of our participants an EXTRA $100 to the jurors who provide the best feedback to participate in a 2.5 hour online zoom deliberation on Tuesday March 30th, from EITHER 11:00 am-1:30pm OR 2:30pm-5:00pm.** For this online trial, participants must have access to the Internet, a working webcam for a few verbal response questions within the presentation, and a Chrome or Firefox web browser (phones may work but our software is not specifically designed to support them).
