Meriden Economic Development Corp. (“MEDCO”) seeks local business opinions on a co-working space The Meriden Economic Development Corp. (“MEDCO”) is hosting two open forum events where it will seek the opinions of local business owners, entrepreneurs, and telecommuters who work remotely, regarding initiatives to help the local small business community and a proposal to develop a co-working space in Meriden. This is part of an outreach effort to gather the opinions of local entrepreneurs about the resources that will benefit their businesses the most. Light fare and refreshments will be provided. One of the main topics of discussion will be opinions on development of a proposed co-working space in downtown Meriden. This space would allow different companies to rent and share office space and the costs to use the space, office equipment, utilities, and support staff, including a receptionist.
