Shearer Companies, a partner of SEKO Logistics, is seeking to hire MedTec Technicians for their Elkridge, MD location. MedTec Technicians are responsible for working in a warehouse environment with key medical equipment customers for the cleaning, availability, maintenance and shipping of medical equipment. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; mechanical training and/or medical device experience desirable. Six (6) months to one (1) year applicable experience or the equivalent experience and education. Experience in manufacturing line or testing equipment preferred. Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable. Ability to acquire TSA certification (required). Ability to be courteous and establish and maintain effective relationships with both customers and associates. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently with minimal or sporadic direct supervision. Ability to obtain forklift certifications. Must be self-motivated and possess strong attention to detail. Strong understanding of and inclination toward customer service. Physical demands: Standing six (6) or more hours per workday. Sitting two (2) or more hours per workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Appropriate safety gear must be worn as needed. This full-time position is eligible for our full benefits package.
