Job Description Night Order Selector - Warehouse Shetakis Wholesalers is a broad line food distributor in Southern Nevada. We are seeking a Full-Time Night Order Selector to select orders and other warehouse duties for our customers in Las Vegas and surrounding areas. Job Description Night Order Selectors are responsible for the safe, efficient task of selecting customer orders and other warehouse related duties. Shift starts at 7 pm – approximately 4 am Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday, including holidays. Overtime required, average employee works up to 10 hours overtime per week; we work until the job is done. Requirements Must possess a valid Class- C Driver’s License with a good driving record. Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack & order selector, selecting customers’ orders, checking orders, wrapping pallets, loading trucks and various other warehouse duties as directed. May operate a company motor vehicle. Work environment can range from -8 degrees to 80 degrees. If below 30 degrees proper clothing is provided but this is not typical within the first 90 days. Average case weighs 40 pounds, some cases weigh up to 80 pounds, buddy lifting is used as requested above 70 pounds. Must be in good physical health and able to select at least 100 cases per hour with minimal mistakes and no injuries. Must be able to read, write and converse in English Must have valid Nevada driver’s license with no major violations. Prefer candidates at least 21 years of age per insurance recommendations, exceptions are considered. Must obtain a Health (Foodhandler’s) Card. Must be able to pass pre-employment physical. Compensation Average starting pay for this position is $12-$13 per hour DOE including an Excellent Benefits Package as well as Excellent Salary Progression.
