Environment Control is an established locally-owned janitorial company. We are looking to fill 4 positions to clean and maintain multi-site commercial facility buildings in Fresno during the hours of 5:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday. 4 positions available each part-time 2-4 hours on average per position. If you are responsible, self-motivated and take pride in your work we want YOU!! TYPICAL HOURS ARE: Monday - Friday 5:00am- 5:00pm, and are subject to change based on business need. JOB SUMMARY: Impromptu cleaning needs such as spills or unscheduled cleanings for example; Employee will tend to any visible items requiring attention during daily routine at multiple sites. Ensure that all dispensers are stocked and empty trash cans Maintain and stock the janitor's closets. Request needed supplies directly from account contact, and restock supply closets. Demonstrate proper care and use of company supplies. Must be okay working around customer employees and executives. Friendly and courteous demeanor to all around. It does involve up to 5 hours of walking, standing, bending, reaching and lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds. The job includes trash removal, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning of restrooms. Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate will be able to perform the above job summary satisfactory and be able to problem solve, multi-task, and effectively use their time management skills in order to complete tasks efficiently. Must have a Customer Service attitude, up kept personal hygiene and grooming is required. Ability to work around people, while having a can do attitude and eagerness for continued growth within the company. Other Skills and Ability: MUST possess a Valid Driver's License, and have own reliable transportation to arrive at each work on time each day. Must be able to speak and understand English, bilingual is a plus. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be mechanically inclined in regard to equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms walk or climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift up to 40 pounds, frequently lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
