Juvenile Red Tegu For Rehome

Hello there! This is an extremely difficult post for me, but I am tentatively rehoming my juvi red tegu (with a rehoming fee). Male, about 6 months, healthy but has some messed up toes due to previous care, and not tamed. I love this guy with all my heart but I have done everything in my power to tame him and I cannot. I am losing time due to a new career and I want him to have a better chance at a happier life, because I believe someone out there will be able to tame him. He still guards, and has started lunging/biting. Not bad enough that he is a lost cause though. I am hoping for a reptile enthusiast, not a first time owner. Rehoming fee of $200, no enclosure. I will not consider anyone who can't take the time to read all of this. I will attach pictures but he is a little bigger now and they do not show the damage to the toes. Please be kind in your responses, I am crying just typing this.
