Description

Dillon Beach Resort is a 55-acre site in West Marin County. The property is currently home to a private beach and accompanying beach parking lot and restrooms, three seaside cabins, a 25-unit RV park, a general store, restaurant and surf shop. We are looking for a person with construction, maintenance, carpentry, landscaping and customer service skills to help maintain the property and help it progress. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, can multitask, take instructions, and follow a project through to its completion. They must be flexible and have the ability to complete projects that evolve as the needs of the property change. Having basic carpentry skills is essential. Sample Work Load: • Remodeling: light carpentry, dry-walling, painting, electrical, plumbing • Building Maintenance: patching damaged roofs, siding, general repairs • Fencing and Gates: Maintaining perimeter fences, upgrades as needed • Landscaping: perimeter plantings along fences, around structures • Irrigation: helping set up perennial landscape watering systems • Moving Materials: salvaging lumber, scrap metals • Tractor Work: beach, sand and general property maintenance • Digging: trenches for utilities, holes for fence posts, swales for drainage • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, squat, kneel and climb with no restrictions - frequent bending/standing is a physical requirement • Professional, polite and friendly • Comfortable working outside in cold/hot climates • Prior maintenance experience preferred • Must have a valid driver's license • Assists with housekeeping on the maintenance of cabins
