Redwood Empire Vineyard Management Company is recruiting for a full-time Entry Level Body Shop Helper in our Paint Shop. This position will assist our painter in refinishing vehicles and automotive parts. This is a fast-paced position requiring great attention to detail to ensure a quality refinish. Job Duties Include: • Cooperate with and assist the painter in prepping of vehicles for paint (disassemble body parts, sand, mask, tape, etc.) • Review Repair Order for scope of work, and make changes for additional work needed and/or work not completed • Prepare vehicles and parts for primer and final paint application • Assist in staging materials and necessary tools to execute each work activity • Buff and/or clean surfaces after all intermediate coats of paint • Polish final coat of paint • Transport and move vehicles as needed • Maintain clean and safe work area(s) • Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Must speak Spanish • Auto Body Repair: 1 year (Preferred) • Driver's License (Required) • High school or equivalent (Preferred) • Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner with attention to detail • Self-motivated with good work ethic • Willingness to learn • Physical requirements: regularly required to stand, crouch, and kneel; frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms and to use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and components; occasionally required to stoop or crawl and the ability to talk and hear. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
