Santa Cruz Memorial is now hiring Groundskeepers for a full time position. Job description: Ability to learn quickly, safely and effectively all equipment and techniques typical of general landscape maintenance. Including but not limited to mowing, trimming, pruning and other associated tasks. Experience and bilingual (english/spanish) is preferred. This is a full time position, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Rate is $15.00 per hour with benefits after completion of probationary period. Qualifications: • Must have own transportation and have the ability to travel between two cemetery locations • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • High school diploma (minimum) • Ability to work in emotional setting • Bilingual (written and oral fluency in English and Spanish) • Highly organized • Ability to multitask • Attention to detail • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting • Able to prioritize tasks • Excellent interpersonal communication skills If you have the required qualifications and are available immediately, please send your resume as a Word document with your name and the position you are applying for in the subject line.
