Look at the bay area, 5 refineries here and we still pay the highest gas prices yet in Davis it's $1 less a gallon. And don't give me that "special California" mix, Davis is IN California. The borders weren't more protected. This whole subject is meant to politicize the issues at the border. Trump's wall was an effort to collect money - remember Steve Bannon - for their own pockets. And Trump spent $1.2 billion to build 3 new miles of wall. And we paid for it. What happened to Mexico paying for it? Huh? On respect from world leaders, well in a word HA! We had better relations with North Korea than we did with England or Germany. I would say no biggie except we do business with Europe, not so much with NK.
