SIGN INSTALLER Reports to: Production Manager / Secondary report for assignments to Office Manager Purpose: To provide high quality installation of our signs for our customers through the Central Ohio and surrounding areas. Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance. Able to lift 100 lbs. and perform strenuous physical labor. Able to work from ladders at heights up to 30 ft. or bucket trucks up to 60 ft. Use motorized shop equipment safely. Read and understand measurements, especially tape measures. Read and understand maps and site specifications, boundary lines and right of ways. Must be able to follow directions and work independently in the field. Pay Rate: $15 per hour and up depending on related experience. Merit raises possible. Working Hours: Generally 8 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday thru Friday. Special projects may include a rare weekend day. Start and stop times may vary depending on the requirements of the business but most generally between 8am and 5pm. Equipment: Company owned van, post hole diggers (manual and gas powered), saws, sanders, drills, painting tools, measuring tools, ladders. Essential Job Responsibilities: Drive company van to location, determine sign placement, unload tools, signs and posts from truck, dig holes, set posts, and attach signs per instructions. This is a very physical job. Organization Move signs and banners to and from storage. Organize install equipment and tools, maintaining proper location. Order needed posts and concrete. Maintenance Wash vehicle, clean vehicle interior, track and perform/ arrange vehicle maintenance. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
