Description

$700 rehoming fee Beautiful long fur border collie will be available for adoption Tuesday when he turns 7 weeks old. He is a very friendly and intelligent pup, and the biggest of his litter. He has been raised indoors and he is already completely potty trained to newspaper. He has been raised around children and pets (my 3 year old is holding him in the pics). He has been eating solid puppy food for 2 weeks now and he definitely has a healthy appetite. My daughter calls him Bustopher Jones after the fat tuxedo cat in the musical Cats. He had his 5 way puppy vaccine on 3/20. All of his siblings are already spoken for. We were going to keep him so we gave him special attention and training, but we have a few projects coming up and we won't have time to train him. His parents are both purebred and AKC registerable but we never bothered with the paperwork. Border collies are very smart dogs and they don't do well if they're left alone with nothing to do. Bustopher is a pretty chill puppy, but he'll need someone who's willing to give him mental stimulation as well as exercise. Border collies make great pets, but they're not good backyard ornaments. He comes from working lines but his parents are house pets and so is he. You could easily train him to work with animals, but he'd be just as happy being a city dog who gets to go to the dog park or does agility training or whatever. I live in Eastern Washington but my brother is also selling a couple pups and meeting people in Wenatchee and he said he would drive out to meet someone there for me.
