On April 18th, as a part of NHL day, along with 63 other Landmarks in the city, the newly renovated Guild House Hotel will offer free tours
April 18th is the annual International Day for Monuments and Sites organized by ICOMOS. GPA is organizing a “Reopen House Day” on April 18th to celebrate the region’s National Historic Landmarks (NHLs), to increase public awareness and knowledge of the NHLs, and to welcome visitors back as sites begin to reopen to the public.
We invite you to explore the history and architecture of 1307 Locust St. One of only two designated Women's National Historical Landmarks in the city of Philadelphia. Former home to the New Century Guild since 1892, hundreds of women have passed through these doors and left their mark on the building. We will have time slots to explore the rooms and plans for the future hotel.
