Qualification Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and experience using mechanical hand tools.
Basic teardown and repair experience.
Able to use standard micrometer, caliber, and other measurement gages.
Basic computer skills, internet, Excel, Word, and CribMaster is a plus.
Basic Functions:
· Skills include basic technical knowledge, manual dexterity, good eyesight, as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
· Ability to lift carry, push, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. He has good hand-eye coordination and expects to stand and walk a large amount of time, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Must fill out all paperwork correctly per GAA GWI’s.
· Must meet productivity standards.
· Must be able to set up all power feed drill motors per GWI’s.
· Must be able to understand and use micrometer and caliper and other gages if needed to properly set up drill motors.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnosis and makes repairs on powered tools, such as drills.
· Responsible for rebuilding defective mechanical parts.
· Must prepare paperwork and keep stock of parts.
· Uses a variety of tools and equipment to assemble units according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line.
· Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and written instructions to assemble the parts.
· Look for faulty components during the assembly process and may be required to test assembled parts or products to ensure functionality.
$13.00 per hour
