Description

Hello all. So, I'm a singer/songwriter. I play bass, keys and guitar, but my current favorite instruments is my Maschine MK3. I'm looking for other singer/songwriters/instrumentalist who want to collaborate. Covid sucks, but I'd definitely prefer to collaborate in person. Here's the rub, unlike most posts here, I'm not looking for people to start a band with. I'm looking for someone to record and release music with. I have a home studio, I mix and master my own music, and have been on a quest to release at least 1 song a month since Sept. 2020. I have extensive live performing experience, both solo and in a band, but that's not my immediate focus. Here are a few current artist I really like. Lauv, R.LUM.R, LANY, Lewis Capaldi, Ariana Grande. Older artists include Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, John Mayer, Billy Ocean, Huey Lewis and the News, and Nine Inch Nails to name a few. I wouldn't necessarily say my music sounds like any of them, but I definitely have a top 40, Pop leaning aesthetic. I'm not a young man, but I'd like to think I make music that sounds like it could have been released in the past 5 years or so. I'm still working out the details of my current project as it's all over the place from a genre standpoint, you can find songs by looking up: Dark Blue Rooms Anywhere that music is sold. I think the strongest of these first 6 songs are Residue, Changes, and Feels Like Christmas for starters. If you're interested in collaborating, please respond with a link to samples of your music. I imagine this process is something like dating, I'm not expecting to find the perfect match on the first hang, but I'm really tired of making music by myself and would love to establish some relationships with people who have experience recording and writing. At worst, it'd be nice to have a qualified ear that could share opinions on unfinished stuff and I would love to do the same for others. I also wouldn't mind helping a younger artist develop their music if they're serious about their craft. Race, gender, and age are irrelevant to me, but understand that the fun part for me is creating, recording, and finishing songs. Let's see what magic we can make.
