Viva La Prensa Texas!!! On April 15, 2021, we are celebrating over 100 years in print at Essex Modern City . Since 1913, we've covered various aspects of local community news in San Antonio. La Prensa Texas, a staple in the community, is the first and oldest English and Spanish publication in the state of Texas. We want to thank our donors for your continuous support. Each ticket will include one meal, two drinks and an evening of outdoor celebration. There will be an award presentation and art exhibit by local artists. It has been over a year since we have been able to safely get together. We are limiting seating to continue to follow CDC guideline recommendations.
